Beware of this Scam: Actual Chat with Scammer I just concluded
Just now, one of my Facebook friends, Lynn, whom I know through networking, started a Facebook chat with me, and I’m sharing to help you avoid a myriad of such scams yourself:

At this point, I realized that it had to be a scam; as an experienced international traveler, I know that credit card companies would take care of this without a problem, but I decided to play along to get more info for this post

“Lynn” this can’t be true; all major credit card companies would help you deal with this w/o a problem; I con only conclude that you are trying to take advantage of FB members

At this point I’m thinking of this as a “real-time” version of all the others flooding my spam folder. I am sure that we will see a ton of these soon. Is this a consequence of the new “opening” of Facebook? Please share your thoughts!
